Helen was walking around Diagon Alley just window-shopping as usual. After she past Gringotts, she noticed something she had never noticed before. It was a dingy alleyway. She knew this place was called Knockturn Alley, but never had she actually come across it. It was a place that sold many dark, magical items She had heard how treacherous it was in there, so many followers of You-Know-Who, but regardless of its dangerousness she walked in.
A large establishment caught her eyes. The words ‘Borgin & Burkes’ were painted on it. She stood in front of the building debating on whether or not to enter. An old woman came up behind her. ”Want to buy something, dearie?” the old woman spoke holding out a tray of human fingernails. Helen forced herself not to hurl and shook her head. She then decided to walk into the building, so the woman wouldn’t ask again.
Inside many strange things were being sold. She saw human bones, a pack of bloodstained cards, glass eyes, a large coil of hangman’s rope, masks, poisonous candles, and many more dark items. Helen walked over to bookshelf that contained many books and she began browsing through the titles. Some of the titles read ‘The Monster Book Of Monsters’, ‘Moste Potente Potions’, and ‘Sonnets of a Sorcerer’.
