OPEN THREAD-present timing.
Morgaine walked into the Divination classroom and saw she was the first student there. She went to a table that was close to the door and far from where Professor Trelawney normally teaches. The professor hated Morgaine with a passion. Mainly due to the fact Morgaine had better ‘inner eye’, as Trelawney called it. Morgaine was a seer like most of her mother’s side of the family.
Morgaine noticed the professor wasn’t in the classroom yet. That was good for Morgaine. The less time with that loony the better. Morgaine decided to mess with the crystal ball for she was a bit bored. With her wand she closed the curtains to darken the room. She took her hands and put them on opposite sides of the crystal ball. Her eyes became transfixed to the foreseeing ball before her. The ball’s clear image began to mist.
Then it began taking form of the dream she had in the Room of Requirements. She watched herself do all the things she had done in her dream.
Morgaine sat up from her laying position. As she looked around she became extremely confused. She was in a graveyard. But how, she thought, she had just been in the Room of Requirements. She stood up and took another look. Not far from her stood mant hooded figures in black cloaks that were a bit ragged at the bottom, probley the result of hanging to the ground. Curious, Morgaine walked towards them all. They seemed to of all been gathered to watch something. The figures slowly parted, making for her a pathway. She walked between them all to see what they were all watching.
At the end of the pathway was another cloaked figure kneeling infront of a figure that seemed to be their leader, for they were sitting in a throne. The kneeling figure had their left arm's sleeve rolled up, leaving their forearm bare. The leader put their wand to the forearm and the form of something Morgaine couldn't make out began to form. Morgaine walked a bit closer so she could make out what the design was, but as she got closer the kneeling figure rolled down their sleeve. The figure then stood up and merged back with all the other standing figures. The leader then turned their head towards Morgaine, their hood darkening their face to where she could not tell who it was. The figure began to speak in a voice that she knew well, a voice that sent a shiver up her spine, 'How nice you to join us Morgaine.' It was Voldemort. 'Step forward and take your mark.' Morgaine began to slowly walking back and shaking her head. She did not want the dark mark.' STEP FORWARD!' Morga und and bolted away.
As she ran Morgaine noticed a few animals. She then stopped and watched them. A red fox was trying to hurt a raven but a white wolf was protecting it. The red fox noticed Morgaine and began growling at her. Morgaine then took off running in another direction. Not paying much attention to things on the ground, Morgaine tripped and fell on her face. She lifted her face from the ground and saw Hogwarts in front of her. She then saw a black bird figure land on the top of the astronomy tower. Morgaine recognized the bird. It was the morrigun, the bird that meant war.
What did it all mean, Morgaine thought. She was always good at foreseeing things, but never real good at interpreting them. For a second she thought about asking the divination professor, but soon pushed away the thought. The teacher was out of the question. The crazy old woman probley wouldn’t even help her or would give false information.
